A word about your data

I am writing this one myself, under my own name, because it is not the kind of thing that should come from a support inbox or a page of marketing copy. If you keep anything private inside AWGCOR — and many of you keep a great deal — you are entitled to hear this from the person who is accountable for it.

Where AWGCOR came from

I built AWGCOR in 2024. It started small, and for a long time it was mostly me and a lot of late nights. I worked through those years the way you work when the thing you are building is the only thing you have, and I still work that way today. Nothing about that has softened.

That work carried the company further than I expected it to. We expanded into the United States, and today we operate fully across both the United States and Australia. Growing across borders changes what you are responsible for. More people trust you with more, and the standard you are held to stops being the one you set for yourself.

Why the concern is fair

Data is a serious subject, and I would far rather you took it seriously than not. When you upload a tax document, connect a payment account or store a business credential, you are handing over something that could genuinely hurt you if it were mishandled. Being careful about that is not paranoia. It is good sense, and I would think less of anyone who was casual about it.

So I understand exactly why a rumour like this travels quickly. People are protecting themselves, and they should.

The rumours are not true

Let me be direct, because a carefully hedged answer would only read as an evasion.

There has been no data leak at AWGCOR. Not a partial one, not a small one, not one that was quietly handled and never mentioned. Zero.

Nothing you have published privately inside AWGCOR has been seen by anyone outside it. Not your tax information. Not your business credentials. Not your client records, your invoices, or anything else you marked private. Whatever you have heard to the contrary is false.

My commitment to you

You are in my hands, and I do not treat that lightly. I promise you that no data leak will ever occur. And if one ever does, I will not hide behind a prepared statement or a legal team. I will step down, freely and without conditions, and answer for it.
