The rules of engagement, written to be read rather than to hide behind.

Scope and quotes
Every engagement starts with a written proposal listing exactly what is included, the price, and the timeline. Work begins once you approve it. Anything not on that list is not in scope — if you want it added, we will quote it separately rather than absorb it and rush something else.
Pricing and payment
Prices are fixed at the point you approve the proposal. We do not invoice for hours you did not agree to. Standard terms are a deposit to begin and the balance on delivery, unless your proposal says otherwise. Retainers are billed monthly in advance and can be stopped with thirty days' notice.
Ownership
On final payment, you own everything produced for you: code, designs, copy, domains, accounts and automations. We hand it over in full. We retain the right to describe the work publicly and show it in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Revisions
Each proposal states how many revision rounds are included. A round means one consolidated set of feedback, not an open stream of individual changes. Further rounds are quoted before they start.
Timelines
Our dates assume feedback arrives within the agreed window. If approvals stall, the timeline moves by the same amount — we will tell you when that happens rather than absorb it silently and miss a date.
What we need from you
Content, brand assets, platform access and timely decisions. We will give you a single checklist at kickoff. Most delays trace back to one item on it.
Liability
We build carefully and test before launch, but no software is guaranteed free of faults. Our liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data you did not ask us to back up, or the behaviour of third-party platforms outside our control.
Ending an engagement
Either side can end a project in writing. You pay for work completed to that point and we hand over everything produced. No penalty clauses, no hostage assets.
