The timesheet lives under Clients & sales → Timesheet. Track time with a start and stop timer, or add hours you have already worked. Billable hours wait in Unbilled time until you invoice them.
Use the timer
Under Start a timer, enter the client or project and what you are doing, then select Start. The clock keeps running even if you close the page. Select Stop and save to record the time, or Discard to throw it away. A timer left running for more than ten hours shows on your Overview.
Add time by hand
In Add time, enter the client, the task, the date and how long. You can write the time as 1:30, 1.5h or 90m. A rate is optional; leave it empty to use your default hourly rate. Untick Billable for admin or internal work.
To change an entry, select Edit next to it in the list. Use the arrows above the day bars to move between weeks.
Read your week
The tiles show the hours you logged that week, how many were billable, what that billable time is worth at your rates and how much time is still unbilled across every week.
Bill the hours
Unbilled time groups billable hours by client. Select Create invoice to turn them into an invoice with one line per task and rate and the hours as the quantity.
- Pro — the invoice is saved in Invoicing and the time is marked billed.
- Free — the invoice opens as a preview to print or save as a PDF. Once you have sent it, select Mark billed so the hours are not billed twice.
Unbilled hours older than a month appear on your Overview as a reminder.
Set your default rate
Go to Quotes and open Defaults for quotes and time at the bottom of the list. The rate you set there prices any entry that has no rate of its own.
