The business plan lives under Grow your business → Business plan. It is a Lean Canvas: your whole business on one page, in twelve short boxes. It takes minutes to fill in and is easy to keep up to date as you learn.
The twelve boxes
- Problem and Existing alternatives — the top problems your customers have, and how they solve them today.
- Customer segments and Early adopters — who has the problem, and who needs it solved most right now.
- Unique value proposition and High-level concept — one clear message about why you, and a short analogy.
- Solution — the main features or services that solve each problem.
- Channels — how customers will find you and buy.
- Revenue streams and Cost structure — how you make money and what it costs to run.
- Key metrics — the few numbers that tell you it is working.
- Unfair advantage — something you have that cannot easily be copied or bought.
Fill it in
Start with the problem and the customer segments. Everything else follows from them. Keep each box to a few lines; if a box needs a page, you have not decided yet. Leave a box empty rather than guess: the empty boxes are your riskiest assumptions.
Select Save business plan when you are done. The meter at the top shows how many boxes are filled, and the page warns you if you try to leave with unsaved changes.
Print it or get feedback
Print or save as PDF lays the plan out on a single page, ready to share. The AI assistant can see your plan alongside your numbers and goals, so you can ask it to critique the plan or find your weakest assumption.
