The situation
Small cleaning businesses are pushed to claim they serve everywhere, which is how you end up ranking for nothing and sending a team out to spend its day driving. Clean Aura works out of Ascot Vale and is genuinely good within a tight radius of it.
What we did
We made the constraint the positioning rather than hiding it. The site states where the team works and how far it travels, which sets the expectation before a booking instead of after one. Presentation is pitched at the top of the market the brand is actually chasing, house, office and commercial work sold on hotel-grade finish, and the quote path is the shortest route on every page.
The result
The site is live and reads as a specialist that serves its own suburbs well, rather than a generalist claiming all of Melbourne. That is a smaller promise, and a keepable one.
