How to get this right.

Each image becomes one page, at its own size
The page is sized to the image rather than forced onto A4, so nothing is cropped and nothing floats in a margin. Mixed portrait and landscape pages in one document are fine.

Photographs of documents beat screenshots of them
If you are producing a PDF for someone to read, photograph or scan the page straight on and crop it before adding it here. Skewed phone photos stay skewed — this tool assembles, it does not correct perspective.

Quality drives the file size almost entirely
A ten-page PDF of phone photos at 100% can run past 40 MB, which many email systems will reject. 85% typically lands under 10 MB and looks the same on screen.

About this tool.

Are my documents uploaded?

No, and this is the tool where that matters most. The PDF is assembled in your browser and saved straight to your downloads folder. Nothing touches a server, so scans of contracts or IDs stay on your machine.

Can I reorder the pages?

Pages follow the order you add the images. To change the order, remove an image and add it again — it moves to the end.

Can it merge existing PDFs?

Not yet. This builds a PDF out of images. Merging existing PDFs means parsing and rewriting arbitrary PDF structure, which is a much bigger job and is on the list.

Why are PNGs converted to JPG inside the PDF?

A PDF can embed JPEG data byte for byte with no re-encoding, which keeps the file small and the build fast. PNG would have to be re-compressed anyway, so it is converted first — on a white background, since PDF pages are not transparent.
