Generators tool
QR codes that never expire.
Most free QR generators route through their own domain, so your code stops working the day they do. This one encodes your URL directly into the pattern — there is nothing in the middle to switch off.

How to get this right.

01
A free QR code that routes through someone else is a liability
Plenty of generators give you a short link that points at their servers and then at your URL. That is a tracking hop you do not control and a dependency that outlives the poster it is printed on. This tool writes your URL straight into the pattern, so the code works as long as your URL does.
-
02
Print needs more error correction than a screen
Level M tolerates about 15% damage, which is plenty on a screen. On something that will be folded, taped up or rained on, use Q or H — the code gets denser but survives a scratch across it.
-
03
Keep the quiet zone and the contrast
The blank margin around the code is part of the specification, not padding — scanners use it to find the edges. Cropping it is the single most common reason a printed code will not scan. Keep dark on light too: inverted codes fail on a lot of older readers.
-
04
Test the printed one, not the screen one
Scan the final printed piece from the distance people will actually stand at. A rule of thumb is that the code needs to be about a tenth of the scanning distance across — a poster read from two metres wants a code around 20 cm wide.
